Job Description

Deliver high-quality telecommunication services to guests. Ensure smooth call processing and guest privacy at a 5-star luxury hotel.

Job Responsibilities

• Answer incoming and outgoing calls politely.
• Ensure smooth internal communication per Raffles standards.
• Record and manage wake-up calls accurately.
• Assist guests with international calls and directory inquiries.
• Address guests by name when possible.
• Page staff members as needed.
• Uphold guest privacy at all times.
• Handle guest requests and report complaints to the supervisor.
• Bill call costs accurately.
• Know local listings and commonly dialed numbers.
• Follow emergency procedures (fire, bomb scare, etc.).
• Report switchboard defects to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Keep updated on the hotel’s fire, life, and safety systems.
• Follow OH&S policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Secondary education or relevant Hotel Management qualification.
• Experience: At least 1 year in a 4 or 5-star hotel.
• Skills: Good written and spoken English. Ability to work well with others. Remain calm and courteous under pressure.
• Must be able to work in a multi-cultural setting.
