Job Description

At La Cigale Hotel, we set new standards for luxury and comfort in Doha. As a CCTV/ Security Officer, you report to the Safety & Security Manager and keep a close watch on our premises using CCTV. Your role is vital to prevent theft, vandalism, and any suspicious activity, while ensuring guest safety and a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras and report any unusual activity.
• Perform routine checks on CCTV equipment; report faults immediately.
• Adjust or clean camera lenses to maintain clear visibility.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and provide First Aid/CPR when needed.
• Identify and report fire or health and safety hazards.
• Record and investigate incidents, including accidents and complaints.
• Archive and store recorded footage for future reference.
• Communicate clearly with security staff, management, and emergency teams.
• Maintain a Daily Activity Report and follow all departmental policies.
• Assist guests with inquiries about hotel facilities.
• Monitor areas like the car park and ensure overall guest safety.
• Attend daily briefings and know the team on shift.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Additional security training is a plus.
• Previous experience in a security role or with CCTV systems is desirable.
• Familiarity with CCTV equipment, monitoring software, and alarm systems.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot suspicious activities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods.
• Fire safety and First Aid certification preferred.
• Must meet the legal age requirement for alcohol consumption and be in good physical condition.
