In this role, you'll oversee and optimize the entire lifecycle of rider equipment and inventory operations across multiple markets. 🛠️ Key Responsibilities

  • Lifecycle Management:
    • Oversee the complete lifecycle of rider equipment and inventory management
    • Strategically manage equipment by balancing cost, quality, and delivery expectations
    • Forecast inventory needs based on growth, demand trends, and seasonality
  • System & Process Optimization:
    • Design and manage advanced inventory tracking systems
    • Drive automation and innovation to reduce manual work and boost efficiency
    • Coordinate streamlined equipment distribution to riders using advanced logistical methods
  • Quality & Compliance:
    • Conduct quality assessments and surveys to ensure equipment meets strict standards
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and talabat’s internal policies
    • Lead emergency contingency planning for equipment shortages and operational disruptions
  • Reporting & Cost Management:
    • Prepare and analyze comprehensive reports on equipment utilization, loss prevention, replacement strategies, and financial impacts
    • Drive cost management initiatives to maximize efficiency and maintain low operating costs
  • Team Leadership & Collaboration:
    • Mentor and train junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
    • Collaborate cross-functionally with logistics, procurement, finance, and operations to refine inventory processes

✅ Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in inventory and supply chain management (preferably in logistics or e-commerce)
  • Technical Skills:
    • Expertise in managing large-scale equipment and inventory operations
    • Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in inventory management systems
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel; experience with advanced inventory software is a plus
  • Cost & Project Management:
    • In-depth understanding of logistics cost structures and cost optimization techniques
    • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects
  • Soft Skills:
    • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English (Arabic is a plus)
    • Ability to work independently while fostering team collaboration
