Job Description job:
As a Research and Policy Fellow, you will manage a portfolio of social and environmental research projects job. You will work on projects that study the impact of social networks and air and water policies job. You will help translate research findings into actionable policy recommendations job.
Key Responsibilities job:
- Stakeholder Management job: Coordinate with government officials and partner organizations to define indicators and design data collection tools job.
- Supervision job: Mentor research associates and ensure data collection meets high quality standards job.
- Budget & Schedule Management job: Oversee project budgets and timelines to meet deliverables job.
- Reports & Communication job: Prepare presentations, policy briefs, and reports for senior officials job.
- Research & Data Analysis job: Conduct desk research, data analysis, and literature reviews job.
- Support Organizational Learning job: Develop case studies, training manuals, and maintain a resource repository job.
- Meeting Preparation job: Assist in preparing slide decks and coordinating with government stakeholders job.
- Miscellaneous job: Provide additional support to advance evidence-based policymaking job.
Desired Qualifications job:
- Master’s degree in economics, public policy, public health, international development or a related field job
- At least 2 years of work experience after a Master’s or 4 years with a Bachelor’s job
- Experience working with government partners is strongly preferred job
- Strong understanding of randomized evaluations and monitoring techniques job
- Intermediate skills in data analysis software such as Stata, R, or Python job
- Excellent writing and presentation skills for non-technical audiences job
- Proven time management and multitasking skills job
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Hindi is an asset job
- Must be authorized to work in India job
