As a NOC Engineer, you will monitor our infrastructure and applications, manage event lifecycles, and perform Tier 1.5 support to resolve issues swiftly. Your proactive approach and creative problem-solving skills will help reduce downtime and optimize our systems, all while working in a flexible, hybrid environment.
📍 Job Details
- Location: Jerusalem, Israel (Hybrid – 3 days/week in the office)
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Job Identification: 881202
- Work Schedule:
- 8-hour shifts (7:30-15:30, 15:30-23:30, 23:30-7:30)
- One week per month on the 23:30-7:30 shift and once on Friday morning
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring & Incident Management:
- Operate monitoring systems to ensure the stability of various IT environments
- Manage the entire event lifecycle: track events from initiation to resolution and update incident reports accordingly
- Perform Tier 1.5 support to resolve incidents before escalation
- Documentation & Collaboration:
- Document useful information about events and incidents to support knowledge management
- Assess and prioritize faults, responding or escalating as necessary
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure issues are addressed effectively
✅ Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a NOC environment
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in coding with Python and PowerShell
- Basic knowledge of SQL, networking, Linux, and Windows servers
- Language Skills:
- Fluent in English and Hebrew (both written and verbal)
- Personal Attributes:
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure
- A self-learner who is always seeking to acquire new technical skills
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects
- Teamwork spirit and the flexibility to work remotely as needed
⭐ Bonus Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of monitoring systems (e.g., NewRelic, DataDog, PagerDuty, Solarwinds)
- Experience with ticketing systems such as ELK, ServiceNow, or Jira
- Experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC)
- Familiarity with AWS environments
