About the Role

As a Waiter aboard Viking ships, you are a key member of our Food & Beverage team. You will serve guests in our onboard outlets and ensure that each dining experience meets our high service standards. You will also help maintain the service station, manage reservations when required, and support your team to deliver outstanding guest interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and organize your assigned service station.
• Supervise 2-4 Assistant Waiters or Café attendants as needed.
• Handle room service orders and dispatch when instructed.
• Assist with restaurant reservations and seating arrangements.
• Conduct regular stock checks and inventory counts.
• Learn food and wine terminology to enhance guest dining experiences.
• Present menus, suggest courses, and answer guest queries.
• Ensure all service areas are kept clean and orderly.
• Follow all operational standards to deliver Viking’s STAR Service.
