Job Overview
As our Nike Store Athlete (Store Associate), your mission is to deliver a premium consumer experience. You will connect with customers by understanding their individual needs and providing a complete solution through Nike products and services, empowering them to connect, train, and compete with confidence.
What You Will Do
- Utilize customer service skills, basic sales techniques, and product knowledge to connect customers with the right product and drive sales.
- Build the bond between consumer and brand by providing superior service and adapting brand stories to the retail setting.
- Maintain knowledge of various store departments; operate cash registers, perform shipping/receiving duties, stock the floor, clean, and build visual displays when needed.
- Serve as a product knowledge resource for customers and entry-level associates, and seek opportunities to develop advanced expertise in Nike products and culture.
- Assist Leads, Senior Associates, and Managers in training entry-level associates.
- Support loss prevention efforts by providing proactive customer service.
What We Would Love to See
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Physical ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to excellent customer service.
- Preferred: One or more years of customer service and/or retail experience.
