Job Overview

To optimize outbound transport to our stores, Action is establishing a local transport team headed by a Team Lead Transport. As a Dispatcher Transport, you will be responsible for organizing the daily transport operations from our DC, ensuring that stores are delivered on time and in full.

You will support the Team Lead and work closely with transport partners and warehouse teams to handle daily paperwork, communication, and administration to ensure efficient logistics.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Run daily dispatch operations by assigning transport trips to various partners
• Receive and process arrival and departure information from transport partners
• Monitor departures and deliveries; take corrective actions in case of delays (warehouse delays, late truck arrivals, etc.)
• Communicate dock planning and trailer returns with warehouse colleagues
• Coordinate pre-loading activities and manage yard parking for trucks and trailers
• Distribute transport documentation and instructions to drivers
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and SOPs on site
• Replace the Team Lead in their absence

Administration:

• Provide necessary information to the RTM or Central Organisation for waybill administration and performance reporting
• Participate in or contribute to weekly operational meetings with transport partners

Job Requirements

• Senior vocational level with at least 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a similar role
• Native Slovak speaker with fluency in English
• Punctual, disciplined and cost-conscious (minimizing waiting hours and process disturbances)
• Pragmatic problem-solver who can prioritize and handle process issues effectively
• Ability to work effectively with transport partners and warehouse teams
• Strong commitment to meeting agreements and targets
