Job Description

As a Room Attendant, you will work under the guidance of the Director of Housekeeping to ensure guest rooms and associated areas are impeccably clean and well maintained. Your work plays a vital role in creating a memorable guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest bedrooms, bathrooms, and associated areas to meet high hygiene standards.
• Re-sheet rooms daily with clean linen, ensuring they are wrinkle-free and neatly arranged.
• Dust furniture, clean bathrooms, and vacuum rooms thoroughly.
• Replenish guest supplies, stationery, and ensure VIP gifts are stocked daily.
• Water and replenish guest room flowers and plants (if applicable).
• Dispose of rubbish and dirty linen properly.
• Ensure materials are stored correctly and report equipment faults immediately.
• Build a respectful rapport with guests by handling their enquiries and complaints promptly.
• Follow key-signing procedures and manage assigned keys responsibly.
• Hand in any lost property following hotel policies.
• Assist in stocktaking and special cleaning projects as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience is an asset.
