Job Overview

Join our train production team at CFL Cargo and help guarantee safety, quality, and reliability in our operations. As an Operator / Shunter, you'll drive a shunting locomotive (using remote control) on our Differdange site, manage wagon operations, and ensure all safety procedures are strictly followed.

Main Responsibilities

  • Drive a shunting locomotive on the Differdange site in accordance with current regulations on our private industrial network.
  • Unhook and hook wagons to facilitate loading operations.
  • Organize, execute, and guide shunting activities efficiently.
  • Operate safety installations (e.g., switches) and visually inspect wagons and their loads.
  • Implement all safety rules and ensure effective communication between all stakeholders.
  • Represent CFL Cargo in direct contact with our client.
  • Be prepared for potential mobility to additional sites such as Belval or Rodange as needed.

Your Profile

  • Must possess a valid B license and a private vehicle.
  • Rigorous, methodical, and autonomous with a strong focus on safety and compliance.
  • Calm, level-headed, and able to handle unexpected situations in an intensive industrial environment.
  • Adaptable with flexible working hours including shift work, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Fluency in French is required; knowledge of Luxembourgish and German is an asset.
