Location: Western Uusimaa Rescue Department, Espoo Repair Shop, Palomiehentie 1, 02750 Espoo job

Working Hours: 38.25 h/week job

Job Overview

We are looking for a permanent fitter for our Espoo repair shop job. This position is part of the material operations within the Western Uusimaa Rescue Department. Your main responsibility is to maintain and repair the rescue department's equipment and manage equipment maintenance in the service unit job.

Job Details

Your duties primarily include maintenance of the rescue service’s light and heavy vehicle fleet job. You will also be responsible for the maintenance and repair of other equipment, small machines, and devices, along with material logistics tasks job. Processing and recording fault reports and work requests in the maintenance information system are also part of the role job.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Relevant professional degree or equivalent experience in the metal industry job
• BC class driving license is required job
• Expertise and work experience in vehicle electrical systems is a plus job
• Initiative, flexibility, and strong cooperation skills job
• Ability to read technical drawings is valued job
• Consent to a personal security clearance (per Security Clearance Act 726/2014) may be required job
• Possible drug test according to the Act on the Protection of Privacy in Working Life (759/2004) job
