Job Overview

Join our Travel Agency Service department at LuxairTours and become a key member of our call center team. As a Call Center Agent, you'll support our guests by selling LuxairTours stays and Luxair Luxembourg Airlines flights, processing reservations, and providing exceptional customer service from the moment the call is answered until the guest's departure. Your proactive approach and ability to manage a dynamic workload will ensure our customers receive the best travel experience possible.

Main Responsibilities

  • Welcome and assist direct customers and travel agents via telephone, chat, and email.
  • Sell LuxairTours stays and Luxair Luxembourg Airlines flights by providing tailored offers and promotions.
  • Process and manage reservation and modification requests, ensuring guest support until departure.
  • Proactively contact clients to offer deals and promotions.
  • Act as the preferred contact for operational issues related to telephone reservations.
  • Suggest process and organizational improvements to enhance call center efficiency.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to the call center (e.g., handling email taskforce, using the CRM system).
  • Provide support to the Central Back Office, travel agency, and travel staff departments.
  • Occasionally participate in promotional events and study trips.
  • Adhere to the Emergency Response Action Plan as per current procedures.

Required Profile

  • Hold a professional aptitude diploma “travel agent” in Luxembourg or equivalent, or have equivalent experience.
  • Dynamic, sales-oriented, and passionate about customer service.
  • Experience in a travel agency or call center is required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient with common office tools.
  • Fluency in French, German, and English; knowledge of Luxembourgish is an important asset.
  • Willingness to work on tour, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong business sense, ability to work independently, and a cooperative team spirit.
  • Proven ability to manage priorities and organize tasks effectively.
  • Stress resistance, responsiveness, and high attention to detail.

Additional Training

  • Mastery of the department's reservation systems and specific procedures for LuxairTours and Luxair Luxembourg Airlines products.
  • Proficiency with tools and systems used in the call center is highly desirable, including CRM software.
  • Proficiency in the Amadeus tool is considered an asset.
