Program Overview
KBR’s AFCAP V group delivers critical support and operations services to the United States Air Force. Our Security Escort Program ensures smooth operations during personnel rotations by strictly adhering to all AFCENT and local base escort policies at our three strategic locations:
- Kuwait: AASAB – Ali Al Salem Air Base
- UAE: ADAB – Al Dhafra Air Base
- Saudi Arabia: PSAB – Prince Sultan Air Base
Position Summary
Under the guidance of the Site Manager (SM) and Assistant Site Manager (ASM), you will provide essential observation and escort services to support our Security Monitor program. Your experience and problem-solving skills will enhance operational processes, resolve conflicts, and ensure mission success during personnel rotations.
Key Responsibilities
- Escort & Monitoring: Escort un-cleared personnel into secure areas, log and track all LN/OCN contractors, and ensure compliance with base escort policies.
- Compliance & Reporting: Adhere to local base security protocols, deescalate issues professionally, and document all personnel movements accurately.
- Operational Support: Utilize communication tools (e.g., radios, cell phones, laptops) and operate company vehicles on and off base as required.
Physical Requirements
You must be capable of lifting up to 35 lbs individually and up to 50 lbs with assistance. The role requires extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, stooping, stretching, and bending. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required, and moderate physical exertion (including walking to operational areas and navigating stairs) is essential.
Basic Qualifications
- Citizenship: U.S. Citizen
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Passport: Valid U.S. Passport with at least one year of remaining validity (no pending applications)
- Clearance: Must hold or obtain an active DoD Secret Clearance prior to deployment and maintain it throughout employment
- Background & Medical: Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen; meet deployment medical and dental requirements
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to accommodate deployment travel within 2-3 weeks of offer acceptance
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous military experience is an asset
- Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role (managing 10+ personnel)
- At least 2 years of experience working overseas
