Job Overview
For our client – a company with over 60 years of experience in refrigeration technology – we are looking for an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join their team in Lier. This is an immediate start opportunity on a temporary basis with a possibility of transition to permanent employment.
Main Responsibilities
- Work as part of an experienced team in the construction, installation, and connection of various cooling systems across different domains.
- Install pipework in a technically correct manner.
- Install and connect compressors, cooling units, roof condensers, and other components to the cooling technology and electrical system.
- Perform brazing and electrical connections where necessary.
- Approach tasks with a problem-solving mindset and ensure correct administrative follow-up of work performed.
Requirements
- Refrigeration technology certificate.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience in a similar role.
- At least 2 years of experience with HVAC and refrigeration installations.
- Possession of a valid Category B driving license.
- Proficiency in Dutch (C2 level preferred).
