Job Purpose

Transport aircraft spare parts for collection and delivery. Ensure timely delivery of parts for repair to prevent shortages.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carefully handle aircraft spare parts at Sharjah Airport Customs and protect them during transport.
  • Deliver spare parts between main Stores and line Stores as instructed.
  • Safely transport unserviceable spares from aircraft to the stores dispatch area.
  • Deliver parts to Freight Forwarders or MROs as directed by supervisors.
  • Assist the Stores Controller with packing materials for export.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws while driving the company vehicle, ensuring passenger and goods safety.
  • Maintain the company vehicle in good operating condition with timely servicing.
  • Keep vehicles clean and tidy, following the ‘No Smoking’ policy.
  • Perform additional outdoor tasks as required.
  • Follow all health & safety measures and complete risk assessments when necessary.
  • Report any errors and take corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Complete any other tasks as advised by supervisors.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or Diploma in any stream.
  • Physically fit and dynamic.
  • Acceptable computer skills.
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
  • Valid UAE driving license is required.
  • 1-2 years of related experience is an advantage, especially in airport or ramp transportation.
  • Extensive knowledge of Sharjah and Dubai roads, including recent diversions and construction projects.
  • Willingness to work shifts and respond to on-call needs.
