- 📍 Location: Mount Pearl, NL
- 🏢 Workplace: On-site
- 💵 Salary: $15.60 to $18.00 per hour (To be negotiated)
- 🕒 Employment Type: Full-Time, Term/Contract (35–40 hours per week)
- ⏳ Start Date: As soon as possible
- 🌙 Schedule: Day, Evening, Weekend
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patrons, present menus, and provide recommendations
- Take customer orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff
- Serve food and beverages professionally
- Describe menu items, including daily specials, and advise on selections
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, or concerns
- Process payments (cash, credit, debit, travelers' cheques, room billing)
- Balance cash and record sales at the end of shifts
- Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs
Who We’re Looking For:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months preferred
- Languages: English (Chinese is an asset)
- Skills: Strong communication, customer service, and multitasking abilities
