Are you passionate about farm work and looking for a full-time position on a well-established farm? We’re seeking a Pig Stockperson for a family-run arable and pig farm in Bedfordshire, and we'd love to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
🐖 Daily pig checks to ensure their health and wellbeing.
💉 Administer medication and vaccinations to pigs as required.
📊 Maintain accurate records of pig movements, weights, and other farm activities.
🧼 Clean and disinfect pig pens and equipment to maintain high hygiene standards.
📦 Order feed, medication, and other supplies as needed.
💬 Collaborate with farm managers, vets, and field staff to keep operations running smoothly.
✅ Maintain the farm’s RT and RSPCA Assured standards.
🔧 Occasionally assist with general farm maintenance on quieter days.
What We Offer:
💵 Salary: £25,000 to £35,000 per year, depending on experience.
🌴 31 days of holiday (including bank holidays).

Hours & Shift Details:
⏰ 39 hours per week plus every other weekend.
🕗 Typical hours: 08:00 – 17:00 on weekdays, 08:00 – 11:00 on weekends.
(Note: Hours may vary depending on workload.)
What You Need:
✅ Experience: While all experience levels are welcome, prior livestock experience is a plus.
✅ Skills: Good communication and the ability to work independently.
✅ Enthusiasm: A passion for ensuring pig health and welfare.
✅ License: A valid driving license and your own car.
✅ Reliability: Must be able to commute to the farm regularly.
