Job Overview
IMMEDIATE START – This position is available for immediate start on-site. Work is performed in the employer’s/client’s home in a non-smoking environment.
Job Description
You will assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, performing a variety of tasks to support the family. Your duties include:
- Light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Shopping for food and household supplies
- Traveling with the family on trips and assisting with child supervision and housekeeping
- Washing, ironing, and pressing clothing and household linens
- Disciplining children according to parental guidelines
- Instructing children in personal hygiene and social development
- Keeping records of daily activities and health information
- Maintaining a safe and healthy environment
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals
- Taking children to and from school and appointments
- Assisting with homework and supporting emotional well-being
- Cooking as required
Job Requirements
- Languages: English
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years as a nurse/care assistant
- Work must be completed on-site (no remote work)
