Join our Campus Farm, located just 60km from Adelaide, for an exciting opportunity to be an enthusiastic and committed Farmhand. This full-time role plays a key part in day-to-day farm operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement.
🌱 Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the cropping programme: cereals, oilseeds, legumes, pasture renovation, and fodder production.
- Livestock care: Maintain the health and husbandry of farm animals.
- Safely and effectively operate farm machinery and equipment.
- Maintain fencing, water supplies, and property amenities to a high standard.
- Support the implementation of sustainable farming practices and precision agriculture.
🛠️ What We're Looking For:
- Prior farm experience essential (dryland cropping experience is a bonus).
- Strong animal husbandry skills and knowledge of farm operations.
- Proficiency in using farm machinery and equipment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and safety.
- Great communication and teamwork abilities.
- Current driver’s license: class C (car) and R (bike).
- Willingness to meet all WH&S requirements.
- ChemCert accreditation (or equivalent) preferred.
